Who We Are

Girl and Cat

We are a grassroots mutual aid network made up of LGBTQ2+ and allies who have volunteered their time and skills in service of the Duluth-Superior area community.

We began operations March 2020 in response to the community needs emerging around the COVID-19 pandemic.

If you would like to support efforts to provide community care in the Twin Ports, please consider volunteering with us and/or donating to the Community Care Fund. All funds will be put directly back into the community to fulfill local basic needs.

Who We Help

We are prioritizing assistance for folks in the Twin Ports who are:

  • Transgender/nonbinary/gender non-conforming

  • Queer, gay/bisexual/lesbian

  • Undocumented

  • Black

  • Indigenous

  • People of Color

  • Unhoused

  • Disabled/chronically ill

  • Elderly

  • Sick

  • Quarantined without pay

  • Sex Workers

  • Sex Trafficking Victims

  • Other vulnerable populations

These populations often impacted more immediately in times of disaster and have a greater likelihood of being unable to access services in their community.
